There are many people who asked me why did I buy a new domain to host my blog when I could have found so many website that provide a blog space for free.
This sounded so strange to me. I always believed in the role of technology and I still do. In my humble opinion technology can add value to our life only if it becomes personal.
Technology is the mean, we are the artists. And you can understand this simple concept thinking about the plenty of digital cameras that are sold almost everywhere nowadays. Let’s take the same camera, and ask different people to take a shot to the same target.
Well, I think that you would get different pictures for from each person you gave that camera.
So I feel the same even about my blog. It has to be mine, completely. Mine the content, mine the structure as mine it’s the name written on it. Mine, finally, has to be the name of my domain as well. That’s why you will not read my name.something.com. that’s all!
Why about this blog?
I always been a networker so I have tried most of the service that cloud computing offer us. But the value of this blog is different. Usually social networking is a kind of window to let everybody know what are you doing or what have you done. Here comes the difference: my blog tells you who I am, not only what I did.
That’s why I’d love to consider it my live curriculum vitae. Thanks to this space you will be able to understant what I do or did (sure you can) but also to go deeply in my thoughts, to understand my beliefs and even my mindset.
